Fencing text

We saw a rainy start to the day and everyone was in agreement that we were much better off working inside.  Waterhouses School was the chosen venue and proved more than adequate for our needs.

Our warm up involved a foam sabre, lots of running around and one fencer trying at will to hit anything that moved, the idea being to replicate British Bulldog but with a weapon.  Great fun!  We were nicely warmed-up after this frivolity and moved onto the serious task of circuit training.  This involved a lot of hard work, co-ordination and endurance that was just the first round.  The circuit was repeated several times and added too along the way.
